Mountain Bike Kickstand
How do I put up my mountain bike kickstand?
I have my old bike, and I rode it this morning at about 10-11am. (When I say old, as in I haven’t rode it in a month, it was kept indoors) I could easily put my kickstand up and down, I left it outside my Grandma’s house. She lives in a nice suburban neighborhood. Now it won’t go up! I tried to ride with it down, and it just scrapped it. How do I put it up? It’s being dumb, am I turning it the wrong way or something? Help me?
Kickstands just fold back against the bike frame. Personally I hate them since they just get in the way.
It sounds like it’s rusted or jammed. Just undo the nut on the kickstand mount & throw it out. If it’s no good & you really want one, buy one at the bike shop for $10-15.
